PODSTAWOWE ZASADY PIELĘGNACJI DREWNA (SUSZONEGO KOMOROWO):
1. Drewno zastosowane na zewnątrz należy zabezpieczyć przed warunkami atmosferycznymi odpowiednimi środkami do tego przeznaczonymi z zastosowaniem podkładu.
2. Im mniej pigmentu ma farba do drewna transparentna ( lazura, olej, bejca, impregnat, lakier) a tym bardziej bezbarwna, tym krócej chroni drewno przed wilgocią czy promieniami UV i malowanie trzeba odnawiać. Oczywiście są lepsze i gorsze środki dostępne na rynku, ale nic nie jest na dłużej niż ok. 2- 3 lata, nie ważne co reklama mówi:). Wyjątek stanowi i spokój zagwarantuje ci stosowana przez nas szwedzka elastyczna farba do drewna, metalu, plastiku, betonu itp. SCALA ROOF PAINT, ale o tym osobno:)
3. Nie przesadzaj z ilością warstw – zbyt dużo farby skończy się jej łuszczeniem lub pękaniem.
4. Stosuj się do zaleceń producenta odnośnie temperatur malowania i czasu schnięcia. gdy jest zbyt gorąco lub zimno, farba nie będzie odpowiednio rozprowadzona i będzie nieprawidłowo schła- za szybko lub za długo. Odczekaj odpowiednio z kolejną warstwą – inaczej zepsujesz efekt.
5. Jeżeli drewno było suszone komorowo, i stosujesz je wewnątrz, nie ma potrzeby impregnacji na owady, od wilgoci, chyba, że chcesz mu nadać kolor lub utwardzić lakierem np. schody, podłogi itp.
6. Drewno we wnętrzach niemalowane utlenia się i żółknie – jest to naturalny proces niestety, nawet przy bezbarwnych lakierach itp. Można drewno delikatnie pobielić aby tego uniknąć, pod warunkiem, że lubisz taki efekt.
7. Drewno niepomalowane na zewnątrz poszarzeje naturalnie, ale może też zczarnieć w miejscach najbardziej narażonych na działanie wody.
8. Im bardziej drewno narażone jest na opady i słońce tym bardziej pracuje, a w efekcie pęka.
